skirsch designs founder, Samantha Kirsch, has spent the past decade working with the fashion industry. She has a Fiber Science & Apparel Design Management degree from Cornell University and has spent time abroad in China and India learning about ethical and sustainable apparel production. From working retail to working in corporate for a large athleisure brand, Sam saw first hand the amount of "stuff" being pushed out to consumers and was constantly exasperated there wasn't more being done to use fashion as a force for good.

​So, skirsch designs was born. Sam has referred to numerous creations of hers throughout the years by this title, but in October 2019, decided to take skirsch designs to the people.

skirsch designs' mission is to inspire people to buy used, love their clothes, and find ways to extend the lives of their apparel. We'll echo Patagonia with their "cause no unnecessary harm" mission too! Hence why Samantha made the decision to only source 100% natural fibers to use for her designs.
